    Class DropletsPhoneHolder

A laser-cut phone stand made of three flat parts that slot together: a base, a leaning back the phone rests on and a front panel engraved with a title and a subtitle. It gives both an assembled 3D model and the flat cut and engraving outlines, which download as DXF or STEP. It is computed for members of the Silver and Gold plans.

    Constructors

    create

    • Builds the phone holder for a phone of the given size, as an assembled model, flat drawings or both.

The flat parts lie in the XZ plane beside the model, and the slots are widened by kerf. With both includeModel and includeDrawings off there is nothing to return and it throws, as it does when the caller is not on the Silver or Gold plan.

      Parameters

      • inputs: DropletsPhoneHolderDto

Texts, logo, sheet and phone sizes, stand shape, patterns, outputs and placement

      Returns Promise<DropletsPhoneHolderData<TopoDSShapePointer>>

The holder data with the model, the cut and engraving outlines and every shape

    download

    • Downloads the flat cut and engraving outlines as a DXF file for a laser cutter.

The outlines are traced into polylines with the deflection settings, and cuts and engravings get their own colors. It does nothing when the holder was built without drawings.

      Parameters

      Returns Promise<void>

Nothing; the browser downloads the file

    • Downloads the flat cut and engraving outlines as one STEP file.

It does nothing when the holder was built without drawings, and throws when it has cut outlines but nothing to engrave.
